a year can be measured on a day's misery, or a month time of bliss.
nevertheless i'm clinging on to the ride of my life.
all in a day's misery:
- my uncle passing away
- watching both my grandparents frail in age
- hurting one's heart to chase another
- missing my uni friends scattered across the world
- farewell to the twins, hello to europe
- my toshie notebook going ka-boom
- developing a potty mouth
- taking up a habit of social smoking
- digging myself into a rut
- losing my best friend
a tide of blissful change:
- my best friend getting engaged
- extended long weekends that ended on a monday
- feeling free
- instant euphoria, qualifying for the world cup at uruguay's expense
- starring at a brand spanking new apple imac
- tossing out the habit of social smoking
- unexplainable late dinners in the early mornings
- promoted as a custodian to the spare car key
- my birthday surprises
- sharing deep and meaningful secrets
- receiving a personalised knitted scarf
- seeing new sides of friendships
- engagement excitement, marriage bliss, babies galore
- podium dancing, i dare say
- being taught the chords to 'first love' on a piano
- letting go my indecisive nature and scoring a bookshelf and table after 7 years.
- becoming a world cup tragic
- the testament of a solid friendship, and allowing to fall
two drinks for a year worthwhile!
