mashed potato meatball shots on a skewer
outside a theater. in some weird lobby area set apart from the rest of the place. ratchet is there lounging out and a cat carrier is also there, i have a female friend with me and we are hungry. i say we could eat at the theater which is like an Alamo Draughthouse, or we could eat at the Denny's next door. She says no, she already checked the menu and she wants some kind of split-pea bacon soup and coffee and other shit i don't remember. so i say ok and the tables are arranged all weird in this eating area that still looks like dennys but its not. huh. i don't like the weird tetris of the tables it disturbs me. and where is ratchet going to sit? i keep wondering if its ok to have a cat in a cat carrier at the table.
when we look at the menu the waiter comes over with a ketchup looking bottle like those red plain ones with the nozzle and uses it to underline what he suggests i eat on the plastic menu lol wtf. only its not ketchup it looks more like worcestshire sauce and runs down the thing. i wiped it up with a napkin wapkin.
but what he messily underlined sounded amazing. "mashed potato meatball shots on a skewer". there were a bunch of flavors that reminded me of the flavors usually offered at wing places. lemon pepper, parmesan, jerk, bbq. so i suppose its like a meatball covered in mashed potato and breaded or something batter and fried and then dipped in a flavor? idk theres prolly a few types of ways to do that. but this idea sounds rad, i wanna do it irl.
i had a billion more dreams last night but this one stands out, i'm glad i ate some cool food in my dream and that ratchet was in it.
