Are we so mired in the search for "self-esteem" and otherwise inflate the perception of the masses' lacking worth? Or shall we dissect this holiday culturally?

I wonder, you must be affluent... a poor man would have said taxes and death. Of course, I shall not argue with the assertion. Hypocrisy is indeed one of the few societal factors which does not change.
