Not exciting to you, I'm sure, but fucking jumping off the cliff for me. I've been himming and hawing (??) for the last 8 months about making my business official so that I could not get so entirely buried in taxes, get group health insurance, and pay myself a salary where Someone Else

Congrats! I'm sending good vibes. Especially if you can simplify your taxes and/or decrease them, I'm all in favor of this.

I'm so pissed at the IRS lately. Normally I'm fine with paying taxes; I believe in public works and am glad to help pay for government services. However, last year they audited Mr. N and decided that he owed them $5000 from 2008. We both swear he didn't even make enough money that year to owe that much even if his taxes had been done wrong, but an accountant looked it over and we spent nearly a year challenging the IRS and they wouldn't budge, so we had to give in. They took my $3000 refund from last year and we had to pay them $2000 out of pocket (which we had to borrow from his grandmother or pay a shit ton of interest under a payment plan that costs $100 to set up alone). Damn the Man!
