GUYS HOW IRONIC IS IT THAT WHILE THE MAIN REASON INEVER GOT INTO TREK FANDOM WAS BECAUSE OF THE ELITIST REPUTATION i'm getting more than a little bit defensive of mai fandom. i mean, i lurked it a lot. so it's. half mine.
everyone and their mother is talking about star trek now, which is cool with me when people are expressing interest in the franchise but the overwhelming amount of LOL SPOCK IS SO HOT is starting to piss me off. ...it really shouldn't, but it is. on the plus side though i'm digging up some of my old trek stuff i have tucked away in random corners of my room and on my hard drive. it's like a nostalgia attack. peace and long life, guys. peace and long life.
lmfao as much as i have always adored trek- never really got into TNG, though?- i love this movie an insane amount. like i'd rather slip into this new continuity and keep fond memories of TOS than revive it again. a DS9 reboot would be sweet, though. i also kind of prefer Pine to Shatner which makes me feel like a bad fan BUT THAT IS THE TRUTH. i fucking adore ZQ, i swear he was practically born to play Spock, but Nimoy has a special place in my cold, cold heart.
in other news i'm pretty much ignoring crucen which i feel bad for i'll try to slide back to it if i haven't been dropped for inactivity already. i'm apping at asphyxia_rp because angie made me, reserves on Kiba and Hidan, two of my favourites to rp from naruto. i need to work on those apps. instead i spent most of the day setting up an account for yunoki from corda. i need to rewatch corda and read past chapter 11 of it.
