(no subject)
Hey, guess what, its a babbling post! Wherein I tell you way too much info on what has been happening in my life..:-D
Today, being Halloween, I have a costume. I was just going to wear it in the morning to greet people as they came to work, and it has already been "stolen" by an admin. asst. in the back....oh yes, I'm a CRAB. Well, a lazy crab, or maybe a hermit crab.... When we were in Baltimore back in August, my parents bought these two hats, whose purpose was to be worn to the airport to greet family and guests, because they insist on embarassing us.....well, I wore one to work today. Its like a red cap (fitted to the head, and adjustable in the back) with felt-wrapped wire appendages sticking out (four on each side and two big eyes on the top).....it certainly sticks out. If/when the hat comes back to me I might wear it some more, and I'll probably have my mom take a picture after I get home this evening (which is in a very long time....ugh)
Other than the hat, I'm in normal-esque work attire (a bit on the casual side becuase the boss is out this week)
Yeah, I'm lame, but I'm still more spirited than most other office workers. :-D
I'm sleepy, but there are only two more mornings to wake up until the weekend! Not that that matters much, because I have to get up early on the weekend too, but I dont' have to dress up and put on makeup! Yay jeans and yay being able to rub my face wildly if I so please....though I dont' know why I would....

This weekend I have my followup eye exam (a month after my first one, and two weeks too late) and I've been having problems with my prescription and with my eyes....ugh, I don't wanna be blind! I'm definitely wanting Lasik, even if I still have to have reading glasses....yeah. "sometimes" glasses are better than all the time glasses....but cookies are not a "sometime" food!
Hehehe....C is for cookie...heheh...now I wanna watch that!
And I just did , and it was most hilarious...laughing at the office always feels outta place...2! 2 last chance! Ha Ha Ha!

Ok, I need a new subject before I transcribe the entire script here....needlessly, I might add.
I really need to remember to make rice tonight for tomorrow's lunch, but I've been having problems with that this week, so I've just been eating out. The Chipotle Chicken Ciabatta with Spicy Crispy Chicken from Jack in the Box is pretty good....and of course so is subway....
I think my parents are both disappointed in my strong aversion to Chili, stew, and such things as that....because of the recent cold snap, my dad (who walks around in ratty shorts and a ratty undershirt when home, and won't put on warmer clothing) has been complaining of the cold, and says we shoudl have these sorts of warm meals, to which I strenuously object, I don't even like the smell of them cooking....and my mom has learned to acquiesce to her family's crazy food feelings, so she hasn't listened to my dad yet...but she likes those meals too. I guess I'll jsut have to go have dinner somewhere else several nights this winter so they can have the meals I dislike :-D
I do want to have nabe this winter...gotta find some kimchi, cuase I prefer it, and make some stock (dashi, bonito, and somethign else....) and maybe then we can do it. Mmmmm nabe.....
