Hurm...
Of course, tagged by a certain Mikochuu. ♥ Grazie~
1. Total volume of game files on my computer.
- About thirty. Mainly for screencapture purposes, because I like to play around with silly things like that. They're mostly GB(/C/A), with some S/NES and SwanColour games mixed in.
To be honest, I haven't played half of them.
2. Game playing right now.
- Shining Tears, Riviera, and Star Ocean 3. More ST than any of the others, because I'm finding it ridiculously addictive and eee wolfling ♥
Also replaying Ys VI on Hard Mode. FUCK YOU, DASH JUMP. Must you be so annoying to pull off? I'm tired of accidentally pitching Adol down pits and into lava and stuff because you didn't activate! *grumpyface*
3. The last video game I bought.
- Shining Tears.
4. Five video games I play a lot, or that mean a lot to me.
- Dragon Spirit: Such a charming old shooter, and probably the only one I'll ever be able to play with any sort of competence. It also has, hands-down, the neatest difficulty-select I've ever seen.
- Shining Soul II: Yay for cute dungeon crawlers!! It took me forever to finally take a step and actually *beat* the game; I was having far too much fun running around all the bonus dungeons and completing the Colosseum and everything else. I've just recently started a Priestess-class character, too... it should be a nice change of pace from my others, who are all melee-fighters.
- Suikoden IV: I can hear purists and h4rdc0r3 Suikofans screaming in agony. Yeah, it's not a very good game: you know that, I know that. But it managed to win me over anyway (which is something I totally blame on the really dorky hero, as well as the returning characters), so there you go.
- Tales of Eternia: I really enjoyed ToE~ The characters were fun (though admittedly, I didn't find them all as likeable as the ones in ToS), the gameplay was frantic and buttonmashy... and hey! Roen! ♥ It was also the first Tales game I played, so it gets all the blame for starting my love of the series...
- Riviera: Because it's suparcute, and nice and stylistic. It's good to see that people still produce great, enjoyable games that *don't* rely on a high-profile series name. Doesn't it seem like most RPGs nowadays are all series-based? "Well, there's Suikoden 4 and Ys 6 and Fire Emblem 9 and Final Fantasy 12..."
I should probably also mention the Pokemon series (duhurr), even though there's no one single game I play most often (though Emerald is a good contender, since they tweaked breeding and EV training so that they're not as hit-or-miss anymore). They're all basically the same thing no matter what version you try, so...
5. Tag 5 people you want to take this meme:
- ... whoever, really. *Baton Pass!* I do sort of dislike passing along chain-mail-esque meme things.
Right. That's all~
