My Long Day
Yesterday was a long day. I didn't get alot of sleep Tuesday night, and then I woke up on Wednesday at 8am and went out to a friend of a friends 50-60 foot fishing boat to get a ride back to LA. The normal express boats are like 80-120 feet long and have good stablizers, go fast, and it takes an hour and a half or 2 hours to get across the San Pedro Channel. SO... my boat ride started at 9:30 am. and after a hellish 6 hours of bobbing around, and throwing up and feeling like I wanted to die, we made it to Marina Del Rey and docked. It was a shitty ride, I actually passed out for the last hour or so of the ride. I actually passed out, i was SO tired and had NOTHING in my stomach(anymore) and the sun was hot, i just passed out.
The got my car and at 3:30pm started my zombie like drive back to Aptos. i stopped in Santa Barbara for some
In 'n Out, and kept going..by Pismo Beach I was almost asleep at the wheel, so I went to Chevron and got some nasty orange Monster energy drink..that did the trick..
In Paso Robles, at 8:15 pm it was 90 degrees outside, it was night time and my windows were down and I was sweating. Damn weather. I kept going, zoning out on the road, and keeping a cruise control of anywhere between 70-80 mph. At 9:40 i got to Aptos for the only reason I put myself through all that, to see my girlfriend who I had missed all week while I was in Catalina. It was worth it, the drive, not the going to the island just for a week.
As for today, Jeffrey, Jonny, Bret, Shane and I skated. We tied a rope to a truck and towed eachother around the nieghborhood. fuun fuun.
