naples
i'm in naples at the hostel of the sun [which i highly recommend to any one]. we only have one night here and we're going to pompei tomorrow.
cute colorful rooms, lots of flyers.
on the train from firenze, i sat down next to this old lady who only spoke italian. within five minutes, she was offering me her bread, mozzerella and tomato sandwich. it was delicious. handmade bread, handmade mozzerella. then the woman next to rumi ended up being a translator--she does subtitles for movies and tv shows. she does CSI miami, the covenant, final destination and jackass in italian. i might hang out with her on friday in rome.
when i got to the hostel, my dad had already called leaving a message saying "call me, it's urgent." but it's always urgent with him. i'm sick of him calling me, i'm sick of his tight grip. i think i'm going to move to new york city with all of my things and not look back. cut off my phone, my insurance...but it's going to be hard.
