YAY MY JOB!!!
My whole department got called into a meeting today, where the powers-that-be made the announcement that they're eliminating three jobs from my department by this Friday!
We can either re-apply for our jobs here and hope to get one of the remaining spots, attempt to get another job within Henry Ford Health System that we're qualified for with a little managerial "oomph" behind our applications (Yeah, right. And monkeys might fly out my butt!), or we can take a voluntary lay-off and get paid with benefits through the end of February.
All this a week before Christmas, too...
