Today I -
-Woke up and spent four hours at work.
-Came home, ate lunch, and promptly wasted three hours that could have been productive. Instead, I watched an episode of Romance (one of my new Korean dramas), surfed the internet, and listened to some podcasts.
-Went to CVS and Wal-Mart to pick up a few things...no particularly exciting purchases.
-Cooked more spaghetti for dinner to use up the cooked chicken and homemade sauce I had made earlier in the week.
-Read one book for my thesis...only one! Two weeks in and I'm already slacking off horribly.
-Watched Jim Gaffigan's stand up special on Comedy Central and Chronicles of Narnia while waiting for Primeval to start. Good times.
-Was very excited to see Primeval since a power outage denied me my show last week. It was also particularly exciting because I bought the DVD set of seasons 1 and 2 yesterday off Amazon for $35 (such a ridiculously low price for a BBC show, how could I resist?)
-Read some more Les Miserables - I'm now 60 pages in and was finally introduced to Jean Valjean. I love the story, but Victor Hugo is waaaaay too long-winded. A few pages would have gotten across the point that the bishop was a good man would obviously would have helped out Valjean. I didn't need sixty pages of anecdotes about his fictitious life.
