Friday = shit, bad, crap, horrid, awful, ( insert other negative synonyms here)
1. Geology practical of doom: The practical involved way too much physics...and it wasnt even geology!!! It was for one of my geology courses (GEOL1006, the Blue Planet) an it involved finding the thermodynamic properties of water...with an electric kettle, water and ice. They didnt give us any equations, only the units the answer was in (we had to figure it all out ourselves from first princibles based on the definitions). That wasn't too bad, but the questions were far too conceptually difficult for the majority of the class, we all ended up in the library discussing wtf the questions meant. Upshot of all this...didn''t finish assignment until 3.45pm..and I was supposed to be picking up Natalie at 3.30pm...
2. Natalie's bus of doom: Long story short, Natalie got her bags in at 4.30pm, and on the bas at 5pm...after doing what she had to do and me trying to find parking near Jolimont
3. Dinner of doom: had to get pizza. i dont like pizza, and i had to drive to get it and get back before 5.30pm (only got back from dropping off Natalie at 5.05pm)
4. Baseball of doom: Driving to drop brothers friend off at baseball (hes staying with us for the weekend) by 6.30 (its now 6.15) and lots of little error lights start flashing on the car...
5. NRMA of doom: the alternator fcuked itself. Car is no longer drivable, without overcharging and exploding battery (i dont want hot H2SO4 exploding in the car). It is now 7.30, and I am still in the carpark at baseball.
6. Tow-truck of doom: arrives finally at 8.30pm. brothers friend finishes at 9pm, but tow-truck driver cannot wait. I cannot leave the car with the tow-truck driver, because i have to pay for towing. Turns out i had 20kms free towing (thanks to Free2go!), and home was only 17km.
7. Return to baseball park of doom: Thankfully gf is kind enough to take me back out to pick up brothers friend at 9pm. it is now 9.05.
8. End of day of doom: pick up brothers friend at 9.25pm, home by 9.45. Much whisky consumed.
I have to go now, as a pimple that formed yesterday in my ear (my ear!!) just popped and is leaking puberty oil and blood into my ear canal. Friday the 31st August 07 hates me.
