(no subject)
Hey kids.
I just woke up from an awesome nap.
So I've come to the conlusion that this is an exciting time of year, but also a depressing time of year. A lot of my friends are graduating and I still have another half-year to go because of my learning disability. :[ Some of my friends are like... "India! Go to my graduation!" (or graduation party), And I know those will be fun but I will be sad at them because my friends are graduating and I'm not. :[ Oh well, I'll get over it.
The good news for me is that today was the last full day of school for the year. I have a couple half days left for finals and such. This coming Wednesday is my last day of school, and it's a quarter day. The following Monday my full-time job for the summer starts. I'm working at a part of my Dad's work. I work in the library section of the place where I sort out books and ship them to different companies. That's all I have to do. $9 an hour. 7-3:30 Monday through Friday. About $250-$300 a week.
You have no idea how excited I am.
My paychecks will mostly be going to gas and money to fix up the apartment. That doesn't bother me any, that just means the apartment is well on its way to getting fixed all the way up, and pimped out by India. Of course I don't have to do this all on my own.
I already know Dave is helping me out with fixing it up this summer. I'm sure other people will wanna come help me too, like Talia, Lexi, Jenna, Mike maybe. The toilet needs to be fixed. It looks really gross inside. And the bathroom sink doesn't work. We'll fix that soon enough. The kitchen sink goes insane and squirts everywhere sometimes so... that's pretty annoying. So over all I think the plumbing is my main concern. Also we need to get some heat up there. I need to set everything up. I REALLY need some food up there... hell yes...!!
