hello again
What you see here is page one from a recently finished aboriginalcomic of mine. It's in Dutch, yes, but some of my LJ-friends said they wouldn't mind if I post Dutch comics. So there. Here you have one. :)
Oh, and I tried to translate a bit from what you see on the pages. Hope you can understand it a bit..
Dreamtime
In the beginning, the early ancestors of the Aboriginals made the world as we know it these days. After that, they disappeared and gave the land to the Aboriginals.
However, in 1800 the Western colonists came and took over Australia..
.. which had terrible consequences.
Luckily, the early ancestors came together on Ayers rock and made a plan..
A few days later, there is a 'mysterious' earthquake which shook al of the colonists into the sea. For some reason the Aboriginals are spared.
I made this comic for a Dutch comicmagazine. They wanted me to do something dreamy. I guess the story I made is something every Aboriginal has dreamed of..
