Okay, I'm working at the Grocery Store and everyone seems to be in a good mood, and then this one guy walks in, grabs a cart (and making a big scene by the way) and immediately starts slamming groceries into it. We could hear him all the way around the store, just slamming these things, and cursing the whole while. Anyways, about a half hour after doing this, he comes up to the front with a cartful of food and demands that someone take his order. There were only two cashiers left in the store, including me, and I have to say, we were a little preoccupied with...uh...all the OTHER customers at our own registers. He immediately cuts off this pregnant woman (who looked like she was already into her eighth or ninth month)who was only carrying, like, THREE items. This immediately angered everyone in our lines, including the other cashier and me. We were focusing on this guy the whole time! Anyways, he started arguing with all of the customers for like 10 minutes, and finally I threatened to call the manager. The guys curses me, and turns around and flicks off the pregnant lady (who was trying not to get involved in the argument), and all of the customers behind her. He then took the cart with all of the groceries in it, and literally shoved it into a display of bread that was positioned at the front of the store. Thankfully, one customer in my line stepped up to him (he was a cop!) and called for backup. This customer started freaking out, and actually assaulted the police officer! Again, thankfully, he was subdued. I called my manager, and the police had the cashier and I fill out a written report on the guy. Turns out that what triggered the man to be excruciatingly violent and cruel was that previously in the day, he beat his wife to a pulp (he knocked he unconscious) and his elder son took her to his grandmother's house, and wouldn't come back. (I don't know...this is Florida, the land of strange people.) He seems to be very prejudiced against women for some reason, because he told every single person in the store that we females needed to die. I found that somewhat amusing. Of course, I was too shaken up to laugh about that. I'm laughing now though...the guy even had a knife in his pocket that the officers suspected he would have used if things were to really get out of hand! My life is saved for another day...
Well, other than that, everything else went normally for me. I saw "The Ring" today on DVD, and I have to say, it was disturbing, but not something I would watch again. I loved watching it alone in the house though. That was cool, because everytime something creepy happened in the movie, the phone would ring and I would jump up about a foot above the ground! (Unless you've seen "The Ring", I don't think you would understand the movie's inside story to 'the phone call' much. Watch the movie, and you will know!)
Well, that's about all to report for right now. Found a survey, maybe I'll fill that out! Ta Ta! And all that jazz!
