hid my soiled hands behind my back....
hey gang. long time no update.... suppose the same can be said for my youtube. lol, hopefully i'll have a new video up by this weekend. i have the footage and stuff from the miyavi concert, as well as some cosplay updates coming up for ae in august.
out of the things on my previous list, i got them all done but the reg. papers. i'm still trying to get my lazy ass out to coquitlam to pick up the papers, but as most know... i procrastinate, and i hate city driving. i'm kinda in this flux... i don't want to go anywhere after work. i just want to head straight home for nerdy reading and other such nonsense. but then again on my days off, i can't bring myself to leave the house at a decent hour to pick up said papers. so really it's just one big mangle of laziness.
i ordered the miku wig. it has since come and looks awesome. i think it'll go great with the costume i;m trying to do. here's a shot of the wig, with what i have done of the headset so far.
i've since decided to try and put some silhouette butterfly wings, painted kinda like my dress where they're black and have a green circuit board pattern all over them. i think it'll look cool, and i hope it works out. strangely enough my fav vocaloid isn't miku, it's luka. but miku just fit better with my idea for the dress... yeah whatever i know. the weird thing is that this costume is filled with so much tech it's weird. headphones are actually functioning dj phones. i've been using them for my laptop since my hello kitty ones broke. the mic actually lights up with a really bright led. at the time of the picture i hadn't gotten it working, but it works now. i also got an idea today for like a gauntlet that will hold my phone and the portable speaker i plan to attach to it.... watch i'll laze out and just make a phone strap XD i plan to blast vocaloid music and annoy all the people around me. tis my goal in life.
on a side note, and a more personal note i guess... this has been coming up quite a bit recently, and it kinda confuses me. personally i don't think i look that much different from what i did in highschool. like i don't think i've changed that much... apparently other people disagree. i was hit on at work by some guy who hated me in highschool. it was wierd... in school i was never the prettiest girl. actually to be honest i was fairly mediocre and i was ok with that. attractive speaking i mean. i think most people thought i was crazy... most likely. i didn't wear make-up, i was gangley, and always had my hair drawn back in a tight bun. looking back on photos i also had a fat face. i'm still pretty gangley and crazy. as for the fat face i have no idea... my hair is nice now, and i wear some make-up regularily. but honestly i don't see a huge difference. i think people might just be picking it up because at a convention i'm like a fucking 9 instead of my usual 5 on the hottie scale.
food for thought i guess. maybe people just developed lower standards as they age. or maybe it was just so gradual i never noticed that i look different.
