okie dokie. i can't type a huge entry since i only have like ten minute before i have to get ready for work. i just thought i'd update everyone on all the stuff that's been going on. yes i plan to job hunt immediately after ae. rob has bought his bus fare and will be arriving on the tenth. i've agreed to pick him up in chilliwack. he'll be leaving on the 15th. he's excited to see my nerd hovel... ie my room. since he's seen a couple epic pictures of various areas, and has heard stories from kittie♥
in other news since i started dling anime again i have come to realize my lappy has no dvd burner. in fact it spits out any blank dvd i give it. this is a problem since discs are expensive and time consuming to burn. least in my mind they're expensive. dvd's are more expensive but generally hold an entire series rather than just 2 eps. that and with shit being the way it is... i've had encounters with way too many mkv files. which can't be burnt as vcd's.
so my solution was to get an external dvd burner that just plugs in through a usb port to my little haku. problem is all the ones that are mac compatible are hard as fuck to find and generally are really freaking expensive. i wanted to find one for under $100. so i was surfing, looking for this mythical burner, and generally getting frusterated by the lack of it all. when i came across one.

pretty isn't it? they had a used one, including software for $89.00, $7 shipping. so you may be asking yourself... 'what's the problem brittney? buy the shit and quit your bitching!' well there is a problem. they only ship it to the states. so i fb'd my sister and asked her if i could get it sent to her house, and then she send it to me... she agreed readily, said it was no problem. so i ordered it earlier today. am i pleased... yes. do i predict some sort of problem? god i'm trying not to...
on a side note. i start mornings on tuesday. i've already stocked up on sleeping pills. yeeesh...
