the weekend was over far too quickly :C i liked hanging with kittie and rob. it was much fun. so we went to metro, and i spent some monies :O i got a zack action figure and the kairi statuette to go with my kh cloud one♥ picked up some more porn. i've already read one called author's pet. it was okay... nothing too special. i disliked the story flow, it was just done too quickly, even for a bunch of shorts. the second is something about a class president and i haven't read it yet... i also decided to try and get some new, normal manga. since most of the tokyo pop stuff i had been reading has either ended or been dropped. i'm still frowny face over legal drug... boo
basically the only one i've picked up recently besides this latest trip was 'hands off!' i like the manag, it's really cute. but i'll have to reread it to get back in the know of what's going on. which also reminds me, i should finish reading gravitation. i have all the volumes, i just sort of faded from it and got distracted by loveless.
anyway, the new ones i got are fairy cube, it's by the same person that did angel sanctuary, so the art is pretty crazy. the reminds me, i'll have to reread the first 2 volumes of angel sanctuary, see if i can get into it again. the next is phantom. i have no idea what this is, but the back sounded pretty cool, and it has mechs in it. i got a model kit for a gundam... i started putting it together and then got tired. i'll finish it later. models are okay i guess. but i don't sense another addiction coming on... maybe if i found some escaflowne ones again?
on a crappier note. i got into a car accident, so now suzy is less pretty. he right front corner is all smashed up and the passenger side door isn't closing properly. my automatic reaction was 'oh shit, what the fuck did i do?' but the accident is totally not my fault. this delivery driver pulled out of a strip mall into my lane. there's no way i could have avoided it. i called icbc dial a claim. explained it all to them, reported the accident, gave my statement and have an appointment on tuesday to go and get it estimated. my dad is very adament i not accept any responsibility for the accident, and in truth, i shouldn't. a guy came over afterwards and said he saw the entire thing through his rear view and would be my witness saying it was the other guy. i'm thankful for that, yet still worried. anything to do with icbc makes me nervous. but i suppose i just have to stay concrete and remember none of it is my fault, and my dad says we'll fight them if they try and say it is...

with that said. i must also reveal my new love...
i saw it in metropolis comics, and fuck i want it so bad. but it's like $70. :S i vowed to check on ebay to see if i could get it any cheaper... if not. next time i go there i'll pick it up, no matter how much of a dyke i look like. i've been watching witchblade, and seriously... it's awesome. it's not just T&A though that's a big part of it... it actually really awesome. and violent♥
sooo i just checked ebay, since writing this up reminded me to check the price. and the price is pretty much the same, with an additional $20 for shipping.... so it's more expensive. on a side note, there are more in the series by the same studio, and they're pretty awsome. i'll cry if it's not there the next time i shop up there :C KITTIE WE NEED TO GO TO METRO AGAIN SOON!
the mitsuru figure is like $116 not including shipping... oh p3, who do you tempt me! i need a less expensive hobby. while i was at kittie's i finished up the yb page i was having trouble with. it turned out pretty decent. i am le pleased.
