So on May 5th I wrote a list of all the things I wanted to accomplish this summer.  The season is almost officially over now and this is what has gotten crossed out

5. make most of my meals out of farmer's market goods
6. not fear death when riding my bike
7. get a better bike
8. be a better friend, daughter, sister
9. paint something on a huge scale
10. paint outdoors
11. take up piano again
12. visit my dad in atlanta and go see our family in New York
13. see my sister (who i miss terribly)
13. boss my summer school classes
14. make bank
15. cut rugs with people i may or may not know
15. see ridiculous amounts of live music
17. see my favorite painting, Number 1 (Lavender Mist) by Jackson Pollock, in D.C.
16. watch more movies with Alexa
17. drive a really long distance with kacie [and you alexa] to see the counting crows and prove our dedication to them and willingness to go the *extra mile*

About half... not bad.

I'm ready for Fall and to focus on myself and evolving my art.

I'm ready for the smells and the colors and the leaves, scarves, layers, the Fall cooking and the seasonal vegetables.
