two thousand eight

So I've gotten a lot done in the past year. I took a few huge steps in my life and I'm ready for more. Now I'm confused, what the hell is the difference between a resolution and a goal? To resolve something is to settle it, or fix it. A goal is "the end toward which effort is directed". Now, I don't have anything I want to fix per say, so I'd rather set goals than resolutions. That being said, here are my goals for 2008:

1. Pay my mortgage on time: again, not something I have to resolve - just a goal.
2. Save more money.
3. Become an EMT.
4. Obtain a position as an EMT at least part time.
5. Join a fire department and respond to at least medical calls and motor vehicle accidents.
6. Buy a new car.
7. Pay back is a bitch (that might be a resolution).
8. Take 1000 pictures, at least.
9. Use ALL of my PTO before I quit my job.
10. Spend every moment possible out of the house... and anywhere but on the computer.
(k that's definitely a resolution)

I also have a theme for 2008, and it's all thanks to the drama at my current job.
"Trust No One" .... Shai Hulud just rings in my ears....

K I'm exhausted. It hurts to read what I'm typing.
BRING IT ON 2k8 !!! I'M READY FOR YOU!
