Ok as you can tell i never update my journal cause i'm too lazy, but here we go..

SO, I'm back. Going home sucks and yeah i got home a week from today so this is reaaallly delayed but bare with me. I had the time of my life on this trip to Australia and New Zealand. In Australia we went to Sydney for 2 days then on the boat it stopped at first Melbourne, then Adelaide, then Hobart (Tasmania)which is supposidly haunted by the convicts that lived there..then second week was onto New Zealand. First stop was the most gorgeous place i have ever been to in my life which was Dunedin, then Christchurch where i went white water rafting, then Wellington where everything was closed cause it was new years and then finally Auckland where we ended our trip. Sydney was my favorite but I'd have to say Tasmania was almost as great. We got to feed and pet the kangaroos, joeys, wombats, koalas and we saw so many tasmanian devils. If i touched it i would have no hand. Kind of weird but they said the tasmanian devil were to be hit by a car, the car would have a dent and the tasmanian devil would walk off untouched. Anyway, We went with our family friends so i got to spend 2 weeks with my friend Amanda, her bro Doug and her awesome parents. Between my sister and I we met like half the ship.I got spoiled by all the guys in Australia, must i say more. Never seen so many beautiful looking people in my life. By the way, I'm planning on studying abroad in Sydney Australia for a semester either my 2nd or 3rd year of college.Anyway.. Being in a completely different opposite part of the world you obviously don't see too many Americans. Which im not complaining about, was a very cool thing. So like half the boat was from Mexico City and were all disgustingly rich with their little beach houses and shit. They had like helicopters come and pick them up in the middle of the trip and personally take them on glaciers, anyway...i met this one guy who i practically fell in love with. Funny thing is, he looks exactly like leonardo dicaprio, we're on a boat and then he says if hes leo im kate. Amanda told him that if the boat goes down he's shit out of luck ha ha. Girls, He is one of the most beautiful guys i have ever seen in my life, no joke you all saw pics. And basically we all had our own guy throughout the trip which made our vacation even better than it already was. So every night was a new drink and another greeat party up in the club. We had martinis like crazy and for the first time i tried a mint chocolate martini and a tropical love boat, which a bunch of different hard alcohols mixed with various fruits. I met new people every night. It was the same routine.. eat, go to the show, then wake up seth and go back to either our room, seth's room or matt's room and do our prepartying there with our many combinations consisting of red bull and vodka or bacardi 151. By the end of the trip I realized there is no end to the art of inventing new drinks. Not too shabby! How was everyones new years by the way?? I honestly can't explain how much fun i had with words. Lets just say the entire boat was a drunk ass party. Free champagne everywhere..there were a million balloons on the ceiling of the boat that were dropped at midnight. Good thing my dad got it on film. All the balloons fell over all the people as we danced to the YMCA. HELLL YAAAAAAAA!!! Then after the balloons dropped and champagne waterfall finished, we all headed up to the club where everyone was making out with everybody. The next day was just one big giant hangover on the boat. Everyone felt like shit together. But i must add, the club would definitly not be half as good as it was if the Mexicans weren't there. They know how to PARTY!!!!!! i used to hate tequila, now its my friend. Funny how i travel to australia thinking i come home talking like an aussie but instead me and amanda come home singing songs in spanish. Well, I hate the computer so i'm gonna stop right there but im sure youve got the jist of the vacation. Before i go, i have to say one thing. I STRONGLY recommend a cruise over new years.
