Hmmm, what if you were going to socialist party meetings or something, or I dunno, organising free parties? The government/mi5 might find that information very useful, despite your not actually having done anything wrong.

They can use mobile phones to track your location wherever you go. Every time your mobile connects to another antenna, it adds a new record to a database. This data is owned by private companies. I'm much more comfortable with the government tracking peoples car movements.
