Title: Moments In Time Characters/Pairing: Chlollie Spoilers: Pretty much everything up till Salvation (9.22) A/N: A companion piece to Next Time and follows the same canon.
On a personal note: Thank you so much for loving and understanding Chlollie even though you're a Chlark shipper. It shows so much objective maturity that you rise above the petty shipper wars
Thank you! Chlark may be my OTP but I ADORE Chlollie.
I'm a very fussy reader so I know what it's like to read something and feel that the characters are behaving in a way that they wouldn't on the show or in a way that isn't true to them. But I also understand that everyone has their own understanding of the characters and the show and that will very from viewer to viewer.
Writing Smallville has been hard for me recently and this has almost been a year in the making with me putting it off every few months. I want anything that I work hard on to be as honest as it can be. But it will always be my interpretation of the characters that will come through. I'm just glad that others share the same opinion.
I've been writing Chlollie for years. Even as a hardcore Chlarker, I wrote Chlollie when I had very little interest in them happening on the show. I think that's what's fanfic is all about. Exploring avenues that the show doesn't.
Clark may be a good guy, but I feel he's been excused from many of his misdeeds just because he's Clark/Superman
I find this such an utterly bizarre mindset and unique only to this fandom. There is an uproar whenever a character disagrees with Clark's POV which is absurd. Why wouldn't they? Gah!
I dislike Lois. I just...dislike her. A lot. For many of the reasons you stated as well as some of my own and those that are related to this fandom.
As for Lana, my opinion on her has changed since she left. I've come to appreciate her as a character in a way that I didn't used to.
