It's been a while...
I've been feeling rather disconnected from fandom and livejournal lately and haven't been checking in or posting as regularly as I once used to. Blah! I'm sure it's partly due to hiatus and partly duw to my waning interest in Smallville. But I'm here now so...
1) No crossposting any of my posts on Facebook please. There's not much chance that anyone would connect my fandom identity to my real life one but I don't want to take the risk. There's a reason I keep my private life under wraps and post anything of a personal nature under friends lock. Thank you!
2) I'm feeling excited about Merlin despite myself. It's always this way with Merlin. I have issues with the way the female characters and relationships are written but get caught up in the excitement of the season anyway because the show is entertaining. I have a feeling I'll be grumbling about Gwen's role in the season just as much as I grumbled about Morgana's last season. And don't even get me started on the lack of focus on their friendship...
My one wish? Give Gwen a role other then Arthur's love interest. Also please show us Camelot from Morgana's POV and don't make her unsympathetic. Ok, so that's technically two but when it comes to Merlin and its ladies, I think I'm entitled.
Please make it work Universe.
3) I have a personally signed autograph from Allison Mack thanks to some very lovely people on my flist. It makes me squee to see my name in her handwriting *fangirly sigh*
4) I have all kinds of Chloe Sullivan fans on my flist. A lot don't watch Smallville anymore, some are concerned about her last arc and others barely care anymore but I have to ask. How would you like to see her go out? What would you like to see from her last few episodes? Which of her relationships do you think should get the focus?
