*FURIOUS*
There really are some miserable, mean spirited, horrible, nasty, evil people in this world. A country has been hit by a massive earthquake, people are dead, the Pacific coast is on high alert, lives are at risk and some assholes commenting on various news sites are making me ashamed to breathe the same air as them.
A sample:
dont forget all those other countries who came running to our aid when we had an earthquake in 2008
good to see that all our tax is being used efficiently to fund our health service and other NECESSARY causes
The Earthquake that most of the country slept through, you idiot. Yes, it's completely the same thing.
Another country that's going to be begging for our money and resources? Fantastic.
And then:
For all of you you red arrowing me, I am not going to apologise and stand by what I said. Why should we help countries that have done nothing for us. Their problem, let them sort it out.
Stupid cow! If I see you lying bleeding to death in a ditch, I'll be sure to step over you and carry on with my day. Because after all, not my problem.
So angry that I can barely breathe. This is what people think of when there is a major tragedy. Lovely. How comforting.
Of course it's a minority but still, their voices seem to rise above the sane and compassionate people of whom there are far more.
