LJ SMITH'S VAMPIRE DIARIES MIGHT BE ON THE CW NEXT YEAR?
This lady was my first fandom ever. Like ever. Not this series. I haven't read this one but the Nightworld series has my love utterly and completely and it stole my heart at sixteen. This fandom has some of the best writers in the whole wide world and it has a special place in my heart in the wide eyed, first love kind of way.
People you aren't allowed to diss anything to do with her. You are not. It's cliched and the writing isn't brilliant but her vampires aren't sparkly and her female leads aren't anywhere near as dim witted or badly wriiten as Bella. OK, on reflection you can diss VD but that's it because Nightworld is made of awesome and sprinkled with brilliant and coated with chocolate and off limits.
Right?
