The Prince who would be a legendary King. The wizard who would bring magic back to Camelot. The maid who would be Queen and the ward who would lose them all. Their destinies were tied together, threads of gold, braided so tightly that to pick one apart would be to throw destiny itself off course.

No mention of Lance, though, which came as a bit of a suprise.

Lovely. I love your writing. The way you can evoke so much in such a short piece. I'm glad you left Lance out. I can't imagine this Gwen cheating on Arthur, I don't know why, unless they change her character dramatically, I just don't see it happening. I know it's part of most Arthurian legends,(I'm no expert, but I don't think the Lancelot/Gwen affair is in all of them.) but this Gwen won't cheat! LOL

I can't imagine this Gwen cheating either but I love angst and I was fully prepared to throw Lancelot into the mix but in the end I couldn't. I think the triangle wasn't in the earliest forms of the legends.

If they have Gwen cheat, I will be SO sad.
