Of bunnies and other stuff...
I was quietly minding my own business last night, listening to some music before I went to sleep when I was bitten by a plot bunny that kept me awake for the next few hours. Coldplay's Viva la vida is to blame. I've listened to it countless times before but now I want to write fic to it. Clark, raised not by the Kent's but by Lionel Luthor and all ruthless and power mad. It's not exactly a new concept and it's been done very well before so I don't know if I'll bother.
Talking of Clark's upbringing, if you were the Kent's, what would you have done differently in regards to dealing with his powers and the secrecy surrounding them? I think I sympathize with them so much because I would have reacted in much the same way. Fear is a powerful motivator and I would rather him safe and wary then trusting and in a lab somewhere. Talk to me guys. I don't frequent the boards much and I'd really like opinions on this and you guys are my SV sounding board.
And talking of writing, I'm feeling very meh about mine right now. It's not coming naturally, I feel as if I'm just repeating myself and reading good fic is making me feel inadequate about my own.
