She is Eternal

I watched the first part of the Children of Dune mini series yesterday. I have no real clue what's going on but the song that played at the end is just incredibly beautiful and I must share it. It's sung in a language I don't know. I've found two translations of it. Each as beautiful as the other. I think the second translation might be more a direct translation from the passage in the book referring to Inama Nushif. But at the end of the day this song is just gorgeous. Do yourself a favour and download it.

1.

She is eternal
No malice can touch
Singular and ageless
Perpetually bound

Through the tempest
be it deluge or sand
A singular voice
speaks through the torrent

Through the tempest
be it deluge or sand
A singular voice
speaks through the torrent

Forever her voice sings
through the ages eternally bound
Sacrifice is her gift
one that cannot be equaled

Forever her voice sings
through the ages eternally bound
Sacrifice is her gift
that Alia will one day equal

She is eternal
No malice can touch
Singular and ageless
Perpetually bound

============

2.

Though we deem the captive dead, yet does she live.
For her seed is my seed and her voice is my voice.
And she sees unto the farthest reaches of possibility.
Yea, unto the vale of the unknowable does she see because of me
Let it be deemed the captive lives, for the seed is our seed.
He sees far off in the possibilities and remains calm over the memories of grief.
Let it be thought of the captive, precious seed of my seed,
The desert weeps for the profound grief of the prevented voices.
