Crop Cirlcles: Natural Phenomena?

Jan 14, 2007 23:42

I attended a lecture on Crop Circles with my mum at my local library today. It was rather amusing. The lecture was run by two ladies, both of which my mum used to work with, hehehe! Small world ( Read more... )

myself, the way i look at this and many other things is, basically a "well fuck, i dont know." and it doesnt seem anyone else REALLY knows either. some are, certainly, hoaxes. others...well, could be any number of things. this subject sorta sums up my religious beliefs well. there are simply too many things going on in this universe of ours that we are purely incapable of ever explaining. therefore, theres gotta be more going on then we are aware of.

beyond that... fuck if i know.

Yup, that's much the same with me...

Which is why we have a Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy to help us out!

But I still can't see the point in coming all the way from another galaxy just to plant some signs in some guy's farm. Then again, I'm an Aussie, and like most Aussies, can't be arsed doing anything. Which is probably why I can't understand the idea of travelling lightyears away to some half rotten, stinky planet called Earth.

Unless, out world is inside a computer game, and someone was either playing The Sims, or more likely in this case, Sims5000 (or whichever number it's up to now...) and decided to plant a few "mysterious signs" to make us all go nuts and spend pointless years after years trying to reach the other side of the galaxy, when they know fullwell there is nothing there at all. In the end we shall wonder what the hell have we been waisting our lives on, and boycott technology, resulting with de-evolution - humanity goes back to primitive times! Haha!

Bit extreme there Kylie, don't you think.

Anyway, I didn't say much of anything about aliens. I for one don't believe aliens have anything to do with this. It's an Earth related phenomena, whatever is causing it. The idea of aliens being related to this issue is one of the dozen misconceptions people have about this phenomena.

That being said, I do agree with you. I find that half these sci-fi stories and horror movies are very disillusioned. No alien race in their right mind would want to come here. There's no point *coughbecausetheilienshavealreadylaidclaimtothislandcough*

Wow... you are silly XD Hehehehe

And Dinosaurs are a different matter. We can prove they existed. The only thing we can't be too sure of is what colour they were.

That's what I meant - we don't know what colour they were, what they all ate (we only know so much due to fossils, etc) and what exactly killed them off. The comet, or climate change... and so on.

And of course I'm silly. What else would I be? :P

And where's my music? *pines*

Don't email it, remember i can't access email here (good thing too I think, otherwise i'd never get off!!)

Slowly getting the internet!! Dad's just checking some more things with Netspace.

So pushy, tsk tsk :p

I only just got up and will upload your music soon enough, don't you worry.

And I believe that it was a meteorite which was so massive that it changed the climate via blocking out the sun and all those fine things.

Ili... when did you get up? I think I posted on here at 10.. or something... so that means... you would have gotten up at around... 11am.

Tsk tsk... bad girl! :P *hugs the bad girl anywys*

You know I have been geting up at 6:30 am every morning.. and going to bed around 10... usually 11 or 12 when I'm really bad. Man getting up to go to uni at 8 will seem a breeze after this. My god, I could actually turn into a morning person, and actually get places on time! Or ... EARLY!

*collapses from shock*

And that's what's wrong with the world Ark. All these apathetic attitudes and no will or want to think and wonder about anything, because of some notion that it can never be explained. That may be the case but just coz that's how it is doesn't mean ya should just stop even trying to understand something.
