Scoopin' the competition...

Jan 12, 2008 12:43

...so, first off, I have edited this Beakman entry to flesh it out...including the song of the famous and familiar operetta singer in the episode! Really! Check it out!

Now, earlier today I said I was gonna play Ausiello, that guy from TV Guide with all the scoops. And if I wanna write better, I gotta get a handle on everything I write...even unbridled fandom gushes.

So, here we are: Senta Moses has updated her website!!!

...uh, okay, that's not news. Unless you, like me, have script-denial software in your browser like NoScript, since she added a bit of JavaScript to it. Interesting, yes. Long-overdue, yes. But not news. At least not news that someone at TV Guide would report.

The news is, well, at her News page. Updating it, she's placed everything that's a comin' up on her plate, including Choose Connor, which will next screen in Omaha, Nebraska, and then in Byron Bay, New South Wales, Australia; Ten Years Later, currently in post-production; BoilerMaker, which sent out a press releas with her name on it, and the fact that she was in Dodgeball (which is true, but will send people running to their copies of that Stiller movie in the vain hope of seeing her in it), Greek, and Bones. And in that little tidbit, you find out who she's playing: The girlfriend of Dr. Sweets, played by John Francis Daley (otherwise known for "Freaks & Geeks"). What it sounds like is, if the strike hadn't happened, this could've been a recurring role. And it still could be, if Bones returns quickly enough. Which means...there goes the F*X boycott. But the good news for that is that it'll still go on for quite a few months, because F*X is holding the new episodes until May sweeps. They've got 4 in the tank, including a tweaked one that was pulled when the Va. Tech shooting happened last year.

That May sweeps thing also means we'll probably have a double dose of Senta, since Greek is on at the same time, I believe. So, your TiVos will probably have to get a bit of a workout if ya wanna record it.

Oh, by the way, something not on her News page right now is "Black Friday", the Teevee movie. I believe that it's currently in some VOD rotation or other, but it should come out to the normal customer sometime soon, and when it does, Lifetime will probably show it. So, get your VCR's ready for that one.

...well, that wasn't too bad of a gush...yeah, it was even a little bit of an improvement on most of the ones I did last year. Okay then. That's it for me right now. I'll be back with more and better words soon enough!
