Hello
Hello Livejournal. I am making a return visit... I keep thinking each return will be a longer stay but I get distracted. The day after last month's post I had a seizure, which was the first actual physical effect I've experienced from this tumor thing. Fortunately this meant I got my 2nd MRI done sooner, and so far things are cool-- the doctors are not worried about my situation and aside from having to take seizure medication every day possibly forever, I'm pretty cool. the other downside though is that the day after my seizure Julie got in a car accident and my car is totalled. Fortunately she's okay but now I am carless, which makes getting to gigs harder and getting to the Hamptons or northern New Jersey harder. But it's great to not have to worry about moving my car every morning to avoid a 100 dollar parking ticket, and I did get a decent payoff from Geico.
Long story short-- August was a difficult month and I'm glad it's September and I'm feeling back in charge of things again finally. The main thing though is that Julie and I are both okay and thankfully our lives are much simpler now than they have been.
We are having a party at the end of the month, which is a house-warming/Julie's belated birthday party (her birthday was also a couple days after my siezure). If you are reading this and you will be in the NYC area on Friday Sept 26 your attendance is highly encouraged. reply for details. It's sort of last minute so there will be no hard feelings.
That's the big news for me. I hope to have more mundane things to say henceforth.
