Drake was creamated today. The hospital where it was done is about 2 blocks from my house. It was so hard, but it was worth it to be able to see him again. To be able to pat him on the head and scratch him behind his ears, and to be able to tell him that I love him and that I miss him. He looked calm, just like he was curled up taking a nap.. only his ears weren't all perked up like they normally would be.. he still shed all over the place, like he always has.. and he still smelled the same... *sigh*
