This is nice. Thank you for sharing. I've been meaning to ask-what do you use for your drawings? The colors are always so rich and blend so nicely. It doesn't look like pastels, colored pencil, arcylic or watercolor. The closest I can get is marker of some kind but I've not seen marker blend so well.
It's digital actually. I use a graphic tablet and draw and color on the computer. Both a choice and an escape since painting, physically, was never my forte. I can control things a lot more with digital, and yeah, it does make the colors look richer more easily. Glad you liked it :)
Very nice, the colors are great, match the fall weather perfectly. (Only concrit: there's something off about their faces/heads, like you need more shadowing to make it feel more 3D, especially around John's jaw. And Teyla's head is on the same plane as her shoulder, instead of receeding behind it.)
Haha, yeah, it does look vaguely like a floaty-head Teyla doesn't it? I got tangled up by the angles a bit there. Thanks for the concrit and glad you liked it otherwise :)
I loved it otherwise! I like your style. And I hate drawing heads/faces, I can't even do good cartoon-y ones. So I just trace or go for two circles and a line for eyes and mouth. :)
