I love how you did the second piece in a monochromatic style with just hint of shading. The line art really shines this way.

Thank you so much! I admit I chose the style for the second piece partly because I wasn't sure I'd be able to do justice to the mood I wanted with full color given the time I had. I'm glad you liked the way it turned out :)
