Hey, that was a quick search - I sense the enthusiasm from here :D

I really liked Dheemi Dheemi, it treads lightly and kinda stays around in the head. I was humming to it so that's a good sign! *downloaded*

Rehna tu, hmm, I'm a bit conflicted with this one. Did you want to hear my thoughts on it? If you don't, feel free to ignore, I just like to waffle sometimes, just let me know so I don't do it too often and annoy you (seriously, I won't be offended). I think the problem lies with the western feel to it, so the opening couldn't hold me. Having said that though, the chorus(?) - the line with the resham up to the line about burning - those parts are really nice. But then straight after, it loses me again. So this track, I'm not likely to listen to it again.

Haha, bet you are shaking your fists. Oh hey, but at least you succeeded with Ada: I've been listening to it all day while I made art :)

Oh man, did not mean to be this late with my response! Anyway, I do actually agree with you to an extent. I dithered a little about Rehna Tu because the western feel is much more pronounced than some other songs with a mix where the Indian side is underlined more or it's blended a little more equally, but I figured the low-key voice thing might work for you anyway. It does however work for me in the end, so it's good to know what doesn't work for you :) Frankly, I'm the most Rahman-obsessive person I know personally, so everyone around me has varying degrees of interest in his work and it's definitely not a problem if you happen to have different tastes :D Im glad you liked Dheemi Dheemi though. The movie is amazing in a horrible way and if you haven't got to it yet, some of the other songs from the movie 1947 earth are wonderful. Also, did you find this song called Vellai Pookal (not from 1947 Earth)? I think you might like it, although if you prefer lyrics you understand, it might not work since it's in Tamil. But the tune is ( ... )
