The Music Festival and the Pope
The regional music started on Thursday. I was lead flute in the band and I sorta blew my solo. Nobody knew though, so it's all good. The band concert was on Friday night and the Wind Ensemble and Chorus performances were this afternoon. It was really moving, how everyone is so good and how they accomplished everything in two days. Hope I make Wind Ensemble next year!
The Pope died today. I'm not Catholic or anything, but I saw all those people crying at St. Peter's. I think it's very touching how one man could affect so many people's lives. Concave will start soon, I guess. I remember reading about it in Angels and Demons.
