issues!
Ok so I LOVE the new apartment and I LOVE living with my boyfriend but my brother Joe is a different story. Before moving in Joe agreed to only smoke in his bedroom and outside because of my migraines and how smoke can cause them as well. His girlfriend is a smoker too but she agreed as well. I was getting really bad migraines everyday here and Joe and his girlfriend have been smoking throughout the house including right in front of me. When I went to talk to Joe about it, he yelled at me and told me that I knew that he was a smoker before we lived with each other, he pays rent too, and for me to get over it! Also before moving in we decided to get the triple play from comcast for $94 a month which includes phone service, internet, and cable with on demand. We added the phone for Joe's girlfriend because she doesn't have a cell phone. No one else uses the phone but her. We agreed on splitting the bill four ways so the bill would come out to $23.50 piece which isn't that bad. Well Joe came up to me yesterday and told me that Kanisha (that's his girlfriend) and him weren't going to pay for the internet because they never use it which, first of all is false because she's always on my laptop. So I was explaining to Joe that she does use it and by not paying for internet wouldn't really lower his bill because than James and I weren't going to pay for the phone than because we never use it. The phone alone is $40 a month and the cable and internet combined is $54. Than Joe is starting to get more petty by telling me how Kansiha used her last $5 on making our dinner last night and I didn't put the food away. In my defense, she told me that she didn't know what she wanted to do with it because she didn't know if she was going to leave it for Joe when he got home or make him something else. She than made Joe dinner with my bbq chicken that I bought so, why be petty about things if your doing it yourself. Not only that, I have been buying the cat food and litter for her cat too but I don't bring it up because I know that Joe is paying for all of her bills because she works 2 days a week and that money goes towards her daughter. That's another thing, Joe is to high on his horse to change his smoking habits to help me to not realize that James and I had to change a lot with living with Anna (Kanisha's daughter). We have to watch out noise control when she's sleeping at night, when she's napping, and you can forget about sleeping in because she comes and bangs on the glass doors to our room. Do we complain? No, because we agreed to deal with this before moving in. When you live with people, you have to be willing to change some of your ways to accommodate your roommates. Joe is making living here hell.
