No, this is not anger, it's an ABC music program. Some of the music I'm adoring.
The Reckoning - The Getaway Plan
TGP, for those who don't know, are Melbourne boys, 15 year old me is totally flipping out that they're playing at Big Day Out next year. They "broke up" in '09, I missed the "farewell tour", then that turned out to be a hiatus, and I missed the "welcome back" shows.
Endless Summer - The Jezabels
These guys are a new band from Sydney. They're also playing at Big Day Out next year, and I am very excite since I can't see them at the end of this month due to exams, stupid exams. They just released an album in September. Check it out, it's really good. Well worth the listen.
Gladiator - Big Scary
Another Melbourne band. They've gotten quite big this year and they're playing at BDO next year too. Seriously, this lineup is awesome. This video is hilarious, by the way. You should watch it if you have time :)
Calamity Song - The Decemberists
The Decemberists are amazing and if you haven't heart of them or heard their music, shame on you! I kid, but seriously, do give them a listen, when I got into "indie" music, they were one of the first bands I got into. Definitely pulled me out of my emo shell.
Okay, it's 2AM and I need to get up early. Sorry for the lack of updates, I've had such a busy week and I don't think it will ease up until after exams D: kill me now. I hate the exam period. 2 months of death is what it is. Anyway, If I've caught up with all my studying this weekend, I'll read all your blogs and leave comments :)
