For those who follow me on Twitter, you'll know that I am so very sick of studying. I don't mind late nights so much, but when it's coupled with exam stress and waking up at 6:30/7AM for that exam, I do.not.like! >:(

Anyway, I just had one exam this morning. The inorganic section just made me want to cry. The rest of the exam was okay, but I couldn't confidently answer all of it. I should be able to pass, but I'm still really worried. I studied as hard as I could, so there's nothing more I can do about it. Now I have to try to cram 12 weeks of microbiology coursework into my brain over the next 10-13 hours. This will be achieved by sitting on the couch with headphones, loud music (probably Anberlin or some sort of angry punk music, i.e. NOFX, the Descendents, etc.), tea and a pile of flash cards and practice questions. Nothing like rote-repetition to liven up a Monday afternoon.

~~okay, so I know this will be a delayed post and posted on the 22nd of June, so the above will be a delayed rant, but I don't want to be distracted by replying to comments when I'm meant to be studying.

Rant aside, this is really what I wanted to post about:

The Ashish collection as blogged about by Susie Bubble.

Whilst the clothes are a bit too "British" for my liking, I'm in love with those tights and the shoes. Susie has done a DIY version which I think is quite clever and creatinve. I may try that with my converses :) well, the ones that haven't already been graffitied all over.

On another one of her posts, she talks about Monsieur Lacenaire knitware, which is, quite frankly, amazing. I've been after an oversized knitted sweater for a while, I found a nice one at General Pants & Co., but it was like $200 or more, which I think is way too much to pay for a jumper.

I have a friend who dresses exactly like this:

except with crazier cardigans. He's quite an "indie" dresser :P

Speaking of which, here's the outfit I wore today:

I'm really going to have to set up a tripod in my room for these outfit shots in the future...
Anyway, outfit details:
Mary Poppins Cardigan - Friends of Couture
Orange singlet - probably from Big W or Target
Floor length skirt - Savers
Boots - Savers
Also wore a cropped jacket (it was 17 degrees and windy, so cold! anyone want to swap weather with me??) & a white scarf.
Accessories (not pictured because I took them off when I got home): Scrabble E ring, frog ring from ModCloth, TARDIS ring from Etsy, and another ring from Highpoint.

Speaking of TARDIS's, how cool is this cake?

Anyway, NOW I have to go start studying :P
