Ilea's Ultimate Movie Quiz
Are you ready? Rules are simple: I give you a quote, you tell me SPEAKER AND MOVIE! Some will be quite obvious, some I'll try to make more difficult. As long as you know me and my tastes, you shouldn't do too badly. Shall we begin?
1: "Shhhhhh. Of course. From a group of Libyan nationalists. They wanted me to build them a bomb, so I took their plutonium and in turn, gave them a shiny bomb-casing full of used pinball machine parts! Come on! Let's get you a radiation suit. We must prepare to reload."
2: "Oh, Man will fly all right. Just like a rock."
3: "It's a television commercial. With this cartoon leprechaun, and all of these children are trying to chase him, 'Hey, leprechaun, leprechaun man, we want to get your lucky charms.' Oh! And there are these little tiny pieces of mashmallow just stuck right in the cereal. So when the kids eat them they think, 'Oooh this is candy, I'm having fun!'"
4: "Your daughters, they will be spectacular!"
5: (1) "You know, I'll never forget my old dad. When these things would happen to him... the things he'd say to me."
(2) "What did he say?"
(3) "What the hell are you doing in the bathroom day and night? Why don't you get out of there and give someone else a chance?"
6: (1) "Ordering. Three pork combos, extra bacon on the side, two chili cheese samplers, a basket of liver and onion rings, a catch of the day, and a steak cut in the shape of a trout. You got all that, honey?"
(2) "Three oinkers wearing pants, plate of hot air, basket of Grandma's breakfast and change the bull to a gill, got it."
7: "Do not cite the Deep Magic to me Witch. I was there when it was written."
8: (1) "They're savings bonds. In seven years you will get enough money from them to buy something nice."
(2) "Do you have any that you bought seven years ago?"
9: "I don't mean to toot my own horn, but if Jesus Christ lived in Chicago today, and he had come to me and he had five thousand dollars, let's just say things would have turned out differently."
10: "Hi Joe / say where'd you get them fancy clothes? / I know / off some fella's laundry line. / Hi Bow / aren't you the prairie rose / Smellin' like a watermelon vine."
