NYE

I think this is the only free moment I'll have to right.

SO! New Year. Year of the Tiger, lol.... My mum's and brother's year. It's going to be hell, I hope I have enough strength to survive it.

New Years resolution? Hmm... I don't have a particular one this year. I have a goal- ATAR 97- but that's about it. Work harder? Keep everything tidy. All the usual things. Keep all my promises, no matter how heart-breakingly tempting it may be to break them.

I want to start my year off on a good note, and I believe it will. The whole family together, probably full of laughs, with lots of food and presents waiting for us in the morning. I heard somewhere that how you start your New Year is an indication for how the rest of the year will be. Last year, my New Year was almost lonely, or at least a little boring. But my year was definitely not lonely.

This year has been most memorable. I won't forget all the many lessons I have learnt and I will never ever regret anything that I did. I believe I'm more on track than I was at the start of the year, so my assessment of it would be that it was a pretty successful year. I hope that this coming year will be even more successful, with enough hard work put in to make it so. And although we will leave the (very) comfortable bubble of school live, friendships never die and skills can not be forgotten.

Thank you to absolutely everybody who made this year so very special for me, who supported me and pulled me out of the gutter. For making me laugh and smile until my cheeks hurt. For never giving up on me, for being there even when not physically there, and of course for all their love. I return it all full-heartedly.

All the best for your NY celebrations, drink safely, and I'll see you next year =)
