An unfortunate conflation
The title I used for my LJ is "But they don't sparkle, they burn", which is from a rather nice/sinister little poem by John Agard:
Beneath my clown's disguise
I have things in my eyes
Resembling diamonds
But they don't sparkle
they burn
...it being a Friday and me wanting to muck about, I googled the phrase to see how obscure the poem might be. What came back? Edward fucking Cullen, that's what, sparkling in the sun like what no vampire ought. I think I may need to raid my book of quotations over the weekend to find a better title...
