Beh. Tough weekend. I haven't felt this down for a good, long time. Thankfully, there is such wonderful, strong support. But we're still only treating the symptoms, not successfully eliminating the cause...

My ulcer is gone! Has been for over a week.

Recently I've been wanting to work on more individual, creative endeavors. I mentioned this before and its only grown since. I've even had some concrete ideas to work with, which is normally the wall when I get to feeling creative. Lets hope...

I also feel a little proud of spotting Slick Rick in the movie Brown Sugar. I also recommend everyone see Pan's Labyrinth, which was fantastic but gloriously sad.

Normally I also go into a "LOOK AT MY CLASSES" post, what can I scrap up in time before rehearsal?

Computer Science 16: Where I actually go from amateur to less amateur coder, learning about data structure and algorithms.

Computer Science 22: Where I learn the appropriate Applied Math to be a still better coder!

Music 40: Introduction to Music Theory, when I learn some sight-singing and get the chops to take the real theory courses in the future!

Music 282, 288, or 87: Either I take grad-level electronic music courses on building my own virtual instruments (like Walter Fabeck's Chromasone, massive multimedia projects, or an undergrad course on performance with multimedia. We'll see if I can get in...

Fifth Class: Music 37, History of Jazz, where we sit and listen to jazz and talk about why its great.
