Saturday night I was feverish and sunday just generally wretched. Thought I had managed to catch the flu in summer but went to the doc on monday and yay! It may possibly be tonsilitis instead. No longer feverish, achey, or nauseous (can never decide whether to pronounce this gnaw-shus or gnaw-zee-us) just have annoyingly blocked ears (as if my hearing wasn't bad enough already) and a killer sore throat. Swallowing has never been so painful ever. So I called a couple of days off work which is bad because I really really need the money. Especially since I will probably have to go buy some antibiotics. Have a current docs appointment for friday but if the pain keeps increasing at this rate I may be forced to move it till tomorrow. Except they rarely have same-day openings I guess I'll have to call first thing in the morning. Although often that tends to be first thing in the afternoon, these days. I really hope its antibiotic-able, because I can't afford to take the time off for a hospital trip to have the wretched things out.
Also, I don't understand how come I can go for months without a single party, then all of a sudden have 4 in 3 consecutive days.
