(no subject)
I have taken up knitting - kind of again. I did it for a little while when I was ten or so but haven't touched it since. I am attempting to make an ipod sock (I already have one, but how much more awesome would it be to make one myself!), and I have a few rows done. It's sitting on the needle like a little flag. It's in a nice shade of green and it's very slow going. I can't do much else when I'm working on it, since I'm so new to it that I'm still concentrating very hard on doing the stitches right and not dropping them once I've done them. My goal is to eventually make some nice scarves or hats or sweaters or a huge cozy blanket or other nice things. But that will take lots and lots of time, and practice! I'll keep knitting away at my little ipod sock for now. I'll put up pictures of it when I get home.
I have so many things I'm trying to work on now! Knitting, books to read, trying to revive a guild on WoW, doing fun stuff with friends also on WoW, and there are a couple cross stitch projects I want to get going. aughsobusy. But it's a fun busy.
