Background
From the time he was born to the age of 14, the child was shunned by many, even his own parents who later died of disease. He is albino, with pale skin and hair and pink eyes. Because of his albinism, he was unable to go out under the sunlight without suffering burns and skin irritation.
After awakening as a Noah at 14, he was able to walk outside, and the very feeling of sun not burning his skin gives him much happiness. He has pledged loyalty to the Earl for accepting him as he is, for giving him his opportunity to live as a normal person would.
After learning that the child had no name, the Noah Mana Walker stepped up and adopted him as a foster brother. The Earl, however, was the one who gave him his name.
"Merlin". A fitting name for a sorcerer.
Being from a family of sorcerers, sorcery came easily to the child, but he never uses it much. He doesn't like being reminded of his parents who threw him out because of how he looked.
It's now 1986, 6 years since Merlin met the Earl. He is 20 years old, no longer terrified of everything and everyone, though he is still rather skittish around humans he doesn't know. At most times, he's carefree and loves having fun. Very attached to Mana and the Earl, as well as Rhode. The only Exorcist he doesn't have a grudge against is Cross Marian-- Merlin found him practicing sorcery, and they've had a loose kind of bond ever since.
