Yea for a weekend
So nice to have a lie in for a change. Work has been very busy this past week. They've been sending me out around the country which never puts me in a good mood. I don't get paid for overtime and I don't get time off in lieu. Thirteen/fourteen hours days with travel are a bit chuffing much to ask.
Still it's the weekend: the current plans are to re-lay the bathroom tiles, measure up and maybe order new carpet for the stairs and hallway and to finally get the last box of christmas decorations put away in the loft. That should keep Mr C and I busy. Either we are feeling better after the flu, or we are subsisting on adrenalin. It's a toss-up.
Oh and some writing. Now I have my dedicated laptop with Office Starter (which seems good enough for my needs so far), I shall sweep into chapter one of the follow up to the xmasfic. I have written bibs and bobs, but I'm very erratic. Delivery still intended for some time in May. Hereafter this work shall be referred to as M2 because 'the follow up to the christmas fic titled Monster' is too much to type every time. And I know what I mean. It has a proper title in it's own right - but I'm not telling you that just now.
