No, really.
And I'm going to try to update regularly--perhaps once a week--with some random musings that will rock your world.
Here we go ...
Today I found out that my daughter is two months ahead of the curve regarding her development. That little detail makes me like this:
OK, maybe not quite like that, but you get the point. It makes me exceedingly happy that my Peanut is growing and ahead of the curve. *smiles*
Also, I got to met HammondGirl last night.
Pants was in tow. We had a great time, and I'm so glad we were able to hang out in person. She's made of win. Epic Win.
In Twilight News, AnnaLynne McCord (aka Kellan Lutz's weird looking girlfriend) is rumored to be playing Heidi in New Moon. To that, I give a resounding, "What the frig?". At least Heidi is a miniscule role and she can't really screw it up. See the article
here. Admittedly, she looks normal in the picture EW used. For once. I'm much more excited about Dakota Fanning playing Jane.
Music Recommendations:
If you haven't, you need to go buy Kings of Leons' Only By The Night. Not only is it clever and original, but Caleb Followill's voice is Made of UNF and they have secured their place on the listing of all time favorite albums for me.
I am also a fan of MGMT's Oracular Spectacular. Give it a shot. I like the synth-sound. They fill the void that was left when The Killers started making weird music about dreamcatchers and being human or dancer, but nothing in between. Also, I believe the synthesizers remind me of Lost In Translation, and therefore Japan, so Wheeee!
Lastly, I must recommend the song "When the Day Met the Night" by Panic at the Disco. I am not normally an emo, Fall Out Boy, Panic at the Disco listener, but I really love it. The imagery is nice and it calls to mind several different analogies.
Random Stuff:
The story I'm writing with
HammondGirl,
Tahoe Tanglings, is nominated for
The Eddies and Bellies. They are a new Twilight Fan Fiction Award Series organized by some of the most popular authors out there and we would love your votes. It opens February 18. Oh, and in case you were wondering, for Tahoe, the following POVs are mine: Edward, Emmett, Alice. HammondGirl writes the other three.
P.S. Isn't this beautiful? It's from
LibraZebra's Jasper/Alice FanMix. Gorgeous.
