Just when I was thinking of quitting the Hetalia fandom, or at least ignoring it for a while, I watch two videos that just made my day completely awesome. The first one is just insanely well done, with a song by Weird Al Yankovich. I was always really disappointed with the fact that now with the anime coming in, all the good MADs would be gone in favour of AMVs, but this one is just perfect. XD
The second one is just-- *A* There's nothing else to describe it but *A*. The costumes are perfect, choreography is perfect, poses are perfect, music is perfect, and best of all, historical references. It's just-- epic. When I started watching this when it was posted on halcyonjazz's journal, I almost skipped it when I realised it was a cosplay skit, but I'm so glad I didn't. ;__; I was literally sitting on the edge of my chair watching this. Thanks to these two videos, I think my faith in the fandom's been renewed. This skit was done at a convention in Guangzhou, I believe.
